Jess Ratcliffe is an entrepreneur and creator of ‘Unleash Your Extraordinary'. Jess had the idea for her first business, a video game swapping website when she was just 15, which Jess subsequently launched after dropping out of University aged 19. Jess went on to raise £55,000 and was one of the youngest entrepreneurs to pitch on Dragons’ Den.

In 2016 Jess was working in Silicon Valley when she was diagnosed with a life-threatening blood disease called PNH. Jess left the startup she was working for to launch a second business of her own, helping ambitious people to overcome fear, get clarity on their goals and build confidence by applying product development principles to the world of personal development.

In this episode Jess tells us how facing her own mortality made her realise the role that fear was playing in her life. Jess tells us what it’s really like to pitch on Dragons’ Den, how she got Richard Branson to reply to her cold emails and she shares her view on manipulative coaching practices, pledging to reimagine the self development industry.
